Fitwel Industries LLP is a leading independent manufacture, supplier and exporter in Mumbai India. We have extensive experience in supplying small tongue and groove flanges in all standard in which the common world standards include ASAI/ ANSI/ ASME, BS10, PN/ DIN and JIS/ KS Flanges are stocked or available in the following range of sizes and materials for the petrochemical, oil, gas and allied industries. Tongue and Groove Flange can be forged or plate be assembled and disassembled easily with Pipes. In the Tongue & Groove Flange Asme B16.5 Class 300, both the Tongue face as well as the Groove faces of must be matched to each other.
One of the flange faces has been produced with a raised ring also referred to as Tongue, machined onto the flange face by the Tongue & Groove Flange Manufacturer in India. Tongue & Groove Flange Jis 16k facings have been standardized in both large and small types. The Tongue & Groove Flange Din En 1092-1 are different from male and female flanges in terms of the inside diameters. To elaborate, the inside diameters of the Tongue & Groove Flange Awwa C207 Class D do not extend into the flange base, thus the gasket has been retained on its inner and outer diameter. The Tongue & Groove Flange Jis 5k are commonly found on pump covers and Valve Bonnets.
Tongue & Groove Flange Asme B16.5 joints also have an added advantage i.e. they are self-aligning and have a tendancy to act as a reservoir for the adhesive. The scarf joint in the Tongue & Groove Flange Jis 10k keeps the axis of loading in line or aligned with the joint. Hence, the Tongue & Groove Flange Class 600 does not require any major machining operation.
Built to align with the Tongue and Groove ears, one side of these Tongue groove flanges has a raised ring, which is referred to as a Tongue that is machined onto the face of the flange whereas the mating flange will have a corresponding depression or known as a Groove machined in its nose. Both large as well as small kinds of tongue and groove facings are standardized, which in turn vary from male and female type of flange in terms of the internal diameter of the tongue and groove ones. The internal diameters of the tongue and groove facing do not reach into the base of the flange, thus the gasket is held on its inner and outer diameter. Commonly a Carbon steel grooved flange is found on Valve Bonnets or on pump coverings. A benefit of having ANSI B16.5 Tongue and groove flange connections is that they tend to be self-aligned, thus, serving as an elastic buffer. The scarf joint of this kind of Stainless steel grooved flange is what holds the loading point in line with the joint, which is why it does not require an intensive machining process. Specific flange faces such as the RTJ, Tongue and Groove, and Female and Male are not to be bolted. This is because the touch surfaces do not overlap along with the absence of a gasket which has one type on one hand and another type on the other. Typically these flanges are recommended to be used in a low pressured, yet non-critical applications, in order to attach other Groove and Tongue components such as the Groove flange adapter. Groove and Tongue flanges are used to connect other Groove and Tongue components in low pressure, non-critical applications.
