There are different thicknesses to the fittings that correlate to the schedules of the fittings. The schedules range from 5s through 160 and XXS. These could be seamless, welded or fabricated as well. The ANSI B16.9 Hastelloy C276 Tee is used to connect three pipes at one junction. The material’s high temperature capability comes from the 1370 degrees Celsius melting point. The material is also b with 355MPa minimum yield strength and 790MPa minimum tensile strength. Due to high mechanical properties, the C276 Hastelloy End Cap and other fittings are used in high temperature applications and in high stress applications with severe corrosive conditions. The corrosion resistance is from the 15% molybdenum and 14.5% chromium in addition to the nickel base.
